Synopsis :
The story takes place during the reign of the Ryukyu Kingdom (19th Century). Mazuru is a young woman who wants to complete her studies despite her gender restrictions, so she takes advantage of the disappearance of her step brother and disguises herself as a man named Son Neion, and passes the exam to be a royal government’s official.

Remarks :
I watch this partly because of Nakama Yukie and partly because of the story. But I wouldn’t say I like the drama much. Thinking back, this is my first Japanese historical drama. Too bad it didn’t leave a nice impression.
